Antonio Garcia Vazquez graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Juarez University of Durango State in 1973 to conclude with its Specialization in Anesthesiology at the Specialties Hospital #21 of the Mexican Social Security Institute in the city of Monterrey in 1977.

Dr. Garcia Vazquez is a pioneer in the Region in the area of Anesthesia in Endoscopic Procedures and Anesthesia for Laparoscopic Surgery since the early eighties and nineties respectively in addition to participating in the Reporter of different topics of Anesthesia in Laparoscopy and Gastroenterology.

Besides the practical experience gained Dr. Garcia Vazquez continuously participates in various National and Regional Congress, also supports the education of future anesthesiologist being Chair Professor of Anesthesiology at his Alma Mater in the City of Gomez Palacio since 1983.

Dr. Garcia Vazquez is a member of the Mexican Council of Anesthesiology since 1978 and the Mexican Society of Anesthesiology of La Laguna since 1979 being President of this society in the period 1984-1986. Currently Dr. Garcia Vazquez has an active practice in hospitals in the Region like:
